At Darling & Guy, we apply design to both personal and business services to help you achieve your goal and vision for any company branding or personal look you are trying to accomplish. From the smallest detail to a full branding package, we work hard to help you rest easy while handling your needs.
Where We Began
Originating from Upstate New York, Maria Ragucci, CEO & Founder of Darling & Guy, learned her work ethic while spending her hours helping out at her grandfather’s restaurant “Vic’s Luncheonette” with her family. Daily, Maria would find herself doing every job possible from cooking, entertaining customers, shopping to cleaning. Whatever needed to be done, Maria was there and happy to do it with a smile. Her father, Ron, inspired what would become the name of our business when after taking over the business and working in the Food and Beverage industry for many years, his solution to remembering a customer’s name would be “Hmm there name slipped me today, just call him Guy for now until it comes to me” and of course if you are following the story, for women he would respond, “call them Darling for now…it will come to me”. This stuck with Maria as she aged and TA-DA Darling & Guy was born.
Maria’s schooling career and entrepreneurial spirit lead her to study Fashion Design as her focus in college. A determined scholar, college brought bountiful amounts of opportunity to Maria, leading her to be honored as a Mentor student to famous Couturier Maggie Norris before ultimately completing her Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Fashion Design in 2012. After that, she relocated to Dallas TX.
Determined, hardworking, a people person, and old soul are words commonly used to describe Maria and with her upbringing and schooling finally running together, Maria was quickly catapulted into running numerous brands and start up companies, or working as the lead in many brands and companies. Finally, during the COVID-19 pandemic that would shock the world in 2020, Maria found herself being leaned on for support from numerous struggling businesses and she could not pass up the opportunity to finally lay her routes down-jump in & start helping which ultimately catapulted Darling & Guy into becoming an official business!
Darling & Guy is now proud to offer Design services in Fashion, Marketing, Merchandising, and Graphic Design. From the basic invitation or business logo, we take care of everything. Darling & Guy is here to take care of any and all of your design dreams, no matter who you are Darling or Guy!
